Why The Resort?
We started the Resort for us, and we hope to share it with you. We needed a place to go, to retreat from the hurry, to slow our pace, still our thoughts, steady our hearts and strengthen our faith.
We needed a place to rest in God, to sabbath, to trust Him once again with all things and all people in our lives.
We found ourselves forgetting His goodness and His sovereignty, we needed a place to remember His love for us and His love for others. We needed to remind ourselves that we were made for an eternal purpose and that this temporary world is not our ultimate home.
We needed time and space and a place to renew our love for God and realign our hearts with His, to find ourselves again abiding in His presence. We needed an overflow of renewal so that we had something to offer, to share with others; to run the race with endurance.
If you find yourself running but aren’t sure it’s the right race, or if you're simply weary and needing rest, we invite you to stay awhile.
Whether you’re here for a few hours, days, or maybe more, come retreat from the hurry, rest in His presence, remember God’s faithfulness in your life, and renew your belief in Him, your trust in Him, and
your commitment to follow Him.

What God has brought together let no man separate. We recognize and believe that our marriage is for God's glory first and our good second. God has been so faithful to cause our paths to cross, in the most unexpected of ways, and to keep us close to Him and, close to each other. #worththewait
